She pursued Art History at university in France, and her love for photography brought her to New York City, where she met her husband, Brooks. Since 2011, she has called Jupiter Island, Florida home, where she and Brooks have raised their three children.
Leila is also deeply involved in charitable causes, with a focus on conservation, children's education, and mental health. She sits on the Board of Directors for Bart's Blue Star Foundation, where she served as Co-Chairman for several years, and she also served as a Board member of the Jupiter Island Garden Club. Additionally, Leila is an active member of the Jupiter Island Club, the Maidstone Club, and the Hobe Sound Yacht Club. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, surfing, and practicing yoga.
