Personal

Gayle (MacEachern) Colinet grew up in Woburn, MA as the oldest of six children. Her father had a passion for boating and, with her mother, joined the Corinthian Yacht Club more than 30 years ago. (her dad started the tradition of leaving a cigar atop the doorway to the bar for someone else to enjoy and for that person to replace it for the next member). Her work experience has included Music Director and Producer of the Jess Cain Show on WHDH radio, VP of Sales and Marketing for a medical device company as well as owner of her own marketing firm that helped small businesses promote and run their companies. You may also recognize her as the person behind and owner of Marblehead's award-winning Turtle Cove Bar & Grille's menu, concept, design and decor. Like many women with children, her career folded around her family leading to several successful positions and industries but the thread through it all was her marketing skills - an essential to compete in today's real estate world. She's lived in several coastal communities around the country - Charlestown, Ft. Lauderdale, Santa Monica, Swampscott - before settling down in Marblehead where she has lived for the last 20+ years raising her daughter, Alexandra. Alexandra is a senior studying early childhood education at Chapman University in Orange, California, not far from where she was born. With great relief to her mother, Alexandra plans to return to Marblehead to teach 2nd grade when she graduates. (She is also the artist behind the pineapple painting used in Gayle's real estate logo!) In a not-so-surprising twist of fate, Alexandra is a seasonal manager at the Corinthian Yatch Club during the summers.
